Experience our Experience

Step 1 - Form an NFA Trust

With years of experience in dealing with Title II items, Kansas NFA can direct you to a knowledgeable lawyer that can provide a legal structure to carry your purchase down through generations. While this step is not required, it is highly recommended for those that are looking to own multiple registered items.

Step 2 - Fill out the paperwork

The 41P rule added several additional steps required of  NFA Trusts, but it is a mere matter of completing an additional document or two. Kansas NFA will set you up with pre-populated forms, fingerprint cards and pictures so you have nary to do but sign, submit, and drop the package in the mail.

Step 3 - Wait

It's true, transfers take time.  Thankfully, Kansas NFA is located 10 minutes door-to-door from Mill Creek Rifle Club and less than 20 minutes from Centerfire Shooting Sports, so-called 'congugal visits' may be arranged so that you, as the customer, can rest assured you have the proper accessories once the transfer is complete.

Step 4 - Enjoy!

After having navigated the NFA process, your transfer is approved! It is our hope that by the end of the process, you can be assured that your time and dedication in researching your purchase will now yield positive results in the completion of that journey.  Congratulations! You are now an NFA owner; enjoy your next trip to the range!
